Microsoft software is often pretty good. But what else can you use? What alternative do you have? Fortunately, there are plenty. or even free! Buying non-Microsoft products does sometimes put you out of step with the Joneses. But being yourself and making your own choices is what freedom is all about.

EverBlue is an effort to port the X-Library. To run applications like GIMP. EverBlue is under developement for a long time now and it might look like nothing happens. This is not true, the team did some very nice progress. It will still take a while until EverBlue is ready for primetime but we think it is worth the effort.
